Mountain Hardwear Space Station Base Camp Tent

Space Station is a singlewall, basecamp tent, dining hall, communications center or hospital. The canopys domed shape minimizes wind load and is practically impervious to water and UV damage thanks to waterproof and titanium oxide coatings. Space Stations three zippered doors, large roof vent and five perimeter vents help circulate air and provide exit options. Bartacked stress points and nylon pack cloth reinforcements add durability to the structure which is supported by strong Yunan Scandium Expedition PF poles. Perimeter floor band makes waterproof seats when snow benches are carved.

very happy with my space station
I have winter camped in my SS now much of this winter. The tent is basically as advertised; very durable and well made. And BIG. It is still single walled, however and tends to sweat inside. I think the assembly instructions could use some improvement, but this is excusable. You MUST waterproof this tent since it will leak like a sieve until you do. (Waterproofing kit included and it really works). I sewed a floor onto my SS to keep out mice and cold and it is a good idea. All in all, well done Mountain Hardwear!
