A good shoe that provides good cushioning. Works well with an orthotic insert.

Trying something new
I bought my Air Pegasus 26s as a low mileage day option to my Air Max 360s. They feel great, just walking around in them. Like all Nikes, they seem to run a half size small, but fit well from front to back on my size 11.5 (12) high arch foot. But, I haven't really had the chance or inclination to test them much with a marathon coming up in a couple of weeks. (I'm in the "go with what you know" phase) But I look forward to putting some recovery miles in on them over the fall and winter. That, and I'm getting tired of my Air Maxes going flat after 350-400 miles of training. I could buy two APs for every Max...

Nike Pegasus
It had been years since I had a pair of these awesome running shoes. I figured they "just faded out of style". I think I had 3 or 4 pairs of recurring Nike Pegasus shoes. One day while browsing, I curiously typed in the name. Many sites came up promising all encompassing "shopping experience" with a purchase. Well, Altrec got it right the first time!! They were the lowest price and came with free shipping & the shoes fit perfect!!. I'm buying a coupla more pairs as Christmas gifts for my running buddies. THANKS ALTREC!!

Great Shoe
I had a pair of these - the 2009 issue. In the 27, they changed the cushioning a bit, and I didn't like it at all. So, was happy to find the discontinued pair online. Yay for Altrec!

this is my second pair of these shoes. i use them mainly for power walking and some running. good arch support. snug fit around the foot.
