NRS CRKT Bear Claw Knife

The Bear Claw is a cutting machine that, thanks to the generous size finger hole, acts just like an extension of your hand. It is the perfect emergency cutting tool for anyone who neesd to quickly cut rope, webbing or netting. Triple-Point Serrated with tear drop tip for fast cutting without danger of point penetration. Blades are full tang, taper ground AUS 4 stainless steel with a fine bead blast finish. Friction grooves are placed on the blade spine, choil and near the trip for maximum blade control and safety. The contoured Zytel handle fills the hand neatly. The Bear Claw sheath is a tough, durable, injection-molded Zytel, allowing for quick release.

I'm a Detroit Fireman. The E-Z Out Gerber is easily the best knife i've owned. I originally bought it as a task knife... working around the home, engine house etc. However, i was in a few serious fire situations where the knife came in handy. It was very easy to retrieve, open and close. even with bulky fireman gloves on. I've had mine for 6 years... still sharp and going strong.
