Providing optimal ventilation without sacrificing comfort or support, the newly redesigned Osprey Atmos 65 Backpack carries your load closer to your back so you can log the miles like never before. This lightweight pack design certainly isn't the lightest on the market, but it the most comfortable and superbly detailed. Built with gender specific BioStretch Harness and Hipbelt for a secure fit and the AirSpeed Suspension system, the Atmos 65 can comfortably carry a load of up to 50lbs, making it ideal for week-long adventures as well as short weekend trips. Plenty of pockets keep you organized and dual hipbelt zippered pockets keep must-haves at your finger tips.
Great hiking bag
Purchased the Osprey Atmos 65 backpack for a trip abroad. Great storage capacity, very comfortable and the best part is the suspension system. I sweat a lot and my back usually feels gross - even after 15 minutes - but despite hours of walking and nearly 20 lbs (on a petite 5'2" frame) my back was fairly dry. I had never used an Osprey bag before this trip but I'm a big fan and plan to purchase more in the future.
Great Bag
Great lightweight pack. I am a slightly bigger guy, 6'1 220, and most packs don't sit properly on my lower back. The Atmos large fits and feels great fully loaded. Originally purchased the Atmos 50 but exchanged it for the 65 because the 65 has the bottom zipper/storage area and the 50 did not.
Excellent Pack!
I've had this pack for a couple years now and have put it through hell without a rip or tear. I pack heavy and do a lot of 2-4 day hikes through rugged terrain on and off the trails. Very comfortable with mesh backing so sweat never sticks to the back and no chafing. Light. Stylish. A+ pack!
My first pack, and I love it
I recently went on a 2 day trip and it fit everything I needed, with a lot of extra space in the front pockets. I put a little less than 40 lbs. Its really light weight and comfortable, but I have a really skinny waist so the waist strap didn't fit as tight as I wanted. I put the pack through some rigorous action, and not a single hole or any damage to it. Good pack for a weekend trip. I would definitely recommend it.
great
For the last twenty years, I've toted 8 lb. Lowe Alpines, one l lb. GoLites, and everything in between. I have always liked Osprey's attention to functional details, and this model is no exception. They got it right again. 5 stars.
