November on the Stanley Headwall and December in the desert; either way, when the sun leaves the walls it's down time. The new Patagonia Down Sweat Full Zip Hoody for Men features 800-fill-power down, stabilized through a quilted construction and protected by a superlight but tough, windproof and water-resistant shell (1.4-oz 22-denier 100% all-recycled polyester ripstop) with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish. Pockets: two zippered handwarmers and one interior zippered stretch-mesh that doubles as a stuff sack with carabiner clip-in loop. With a single-drawcord, helmet-compatible hood and a drawcord hem.
Great jacket for surviving windy winter in Chicago!
This jacket has proven to be the perfect option for the frigid, blustery winter weather. Without being bulky, it blocks wind and keeps body warmth trapped inside. The tall collar and hood are perfect for covering up and staying toasty.
Excellent warmth to weight ratio!
Typical Patagonia item - a bit pricy, but exceeds your expectations for what it is. I have many of their products and I really like them all. This one is so warm and so light! Really impressive and I will use it often. To get an even better value, I generally try to buy on sale.
usual Patagonia excellence
got the blue, nice color. very lite, medium weight for down, not too hot when you're indoors sometimes and not out all day.
Great Jacket
Warm and comfortable in a variety of conditions. So far tested in 15-40 degrees, and even some light snow and in all performed perfectly. A little on the pricey side, but worth every dollar.
