The Slingshot has a low-profile design that pairs nicely with an early morning bouldering circuit or a trip into town. The materials combine a tough, windproof polyester variegated ripstop shell (all-recycled) to cast off water and an extremely efficient layer of goose down insulation that thaws out chilly belays. A lightweight internal lining of all-recycled, 100% polyester glides smoothly over layers. Features include a full front-zip with a protective snap closure, two front hand pockets (lined with microfleece), an internal security pocket, a drop-tail design, internal cuff gussets to keep wind at bay and a brushed lining at the neck. Built for serious warmth and with a sportswear fit, this 600-fill goose down jacket by Patagonia closes that gap between thinking comfortable and being toasty. Stuff sack included.

Fashionable enough for cold days in the city
I purchased this jacket for my boyfriend, he absolutely loves it. He had previously purchased the same coat, however it was stolen at his health club and wanted another to replace it. The weight is perfect for cold winters in the Midwest. The fit is pretty much on target, he is 6'1", 190 lbs and the large is perfect.

not what expected
I read reviews that it was a warm jacket.. It does not look warm and the jacket sizing is terrible. My son is tall with a long torso and it is very short on him
