The shoe formerly know as the Trigon Guide, the Saucony ProGrid Guide 2 for Men is ideal for the runner in search of a light stability shoe that helps to counter mild overpronation. A close-fitting mesh upper hugs your foot and Guide 2 offers a comfortably snug fit heel and midfoot, while still delivering a roomy toebox that doesn't feel too-wide. A basic trainer that can log the miles and deliver superb cushioning and light stability, the ProGrid Guide 2 will deliver.
Second Pair
I run on trails (~6 hours/week) but still don't use trail shoes. I liked this shoe enough to get a second pair, switching from Asics 2140 after trying 6-7 shoes at the running store. Wraps around my foot really well and fits snug. Might squeeze the toes of some people just a bit, but it's just right for me. I have "normal" arches.
Excellent Shoe
Shoe fit great and feels much better than my Brooks Axioms to run in.
