warm, comfortable, durable sole
My husband loves to wear these all around the house. The last pair of down boots he had were from Sierra Designs and had much less durable soles. We patched them 3 times! Now I don't yell at him if he goes out in these to get the mail. A little less down in them means they are not quite as warm, but more sleek and stylish, and more than adequate for the house. He wears 10-10 1/2, and the mediums are perfect for him.

Goodbye to Cold Feet
Sierra Designs down bootie is meeting all of my expectations. I primarily bought the slippers because my feet are always cold in slippers-- at the house, around the camp and in my sleeping bag. The slippers are as warm as advertised; you actually may need to adjust the thickness of your socks to avoid sweating. The ankle and top straps do allow some temperature control of your feet. I have found that the rubber sole provides enough traction, even in light snow. The slippers pack down relatively well. The fit is true to the recommended sizing. I did find that I needed to add insoles for more support. I recommend these down booties to anyone with cold feet and have bought a second pair for my girlfriend. (She finds them a little baggy on her narrow feet, but true to size. She is looking for insoles.)

These booties do keep your feet very warm! Another pair will be purchased.

Very pleased with the Sierra Designs Drizone Down Bootie
Just got the Sierra Designs Men's Drizone Down Booties I ordered. I tried them on and my feet started warming up almost immediately. I cant wait to try them out on my next backpacking trip. After a long hike, it will be great to get out of my boots and relax in the tent or just around camp.

Excellent product
As a motorcycle camping enthusiast and a resident of the NE USA, I am delighted to have discovered the Drizone Booties. For some time I have been searching for a warm, sturdy slipper for use at home in the winter. The products I found were either not insulated enough or too flimsy to serve as a walking shoe that can "go outside" when needed. I knew that Sierra Designs made well designed products so I looked there. As a bonus I discovered that the boots pack small and their semi-rigid soles allow walking around the camp site as well as around the house. They are perfectly suited for a middle of the night trip to the bath house or a quick run through the morning snow to retrieve the morning paper as well.
