Big Shot indeed.
The picture here does not do this backpack justice. It looks big and bulky, but is really sleek. The laptop sleeve holds my 17inch laptop snuggly. The two front pockets hold all the cords and accessories i could ever hope to need. Compared to all the other backpacks i have had, the Big Shot is in a league of its own. I have yet to experience any sort of discomfort in my back from this backpack; and on top of all of this, it just looks great. I couldn't be happier.

Love this pack!
I got a new Macbook Pro laptop and realized that my old north face pack just wasn't offering the protection needed for this expensive piece of hardware. I did a lot of research online prior to selecting this pack and I am so glad I did it! It was a little expensive, but worth every penny. I ride my bike 10 miles round trip to/from work every day in Phoenix. This pack pads the laptop very well and positions it off the bottom of the pack so when I set it down it never crashes on the corners. Also, like I said -- Phoenix -- it's freaking hot here! The back panel helps keep me cool and has a nice stiffness to it. The pack also fits me well, I am 6'6" and it hugs my large frame perfectly. Even when I am riding hard, jumping curbs and whatever, I never have the pack shifting and throwing off my balance. It holds my 1L nalgene bottle just great too. Only thing I wish it had was a fleece lined pouch to store my Smiths, but there is always a compromise somewhere.

great backpack
Perfect size for carrying a few books and a laptop. Plus, all the inside organization pockets are helpful. I was worried it would be too big; it is not too big. A great size for bookbag-type backpack. Also, the divider inside for the laptop area is a good idea.

Excellent backpack
This is the best backpack I have ever owned. Another review said there isn't much room for books after you put your laptop in - I MUST disagree. I'm a medical student, and I always carry multiple huge textbooks with me as well as my laptop and cord, not to mention two extra sets of clothing for my two different labs. Everything fits, and it seems like there's aways still room. The waist strap and the shape of the bag really take the pressure off of my shoulders during my half hour walk to class. The bag looks kind of bulky when you hold it in front of you to look at it, but once you put it on, it looks like a regular, normal sized backpack. It's great for weekend camping/climbing trips and mini-vacations, too. Not bothersome enough to remove a star are the interior pockets. I am a disorganized person and I tend to just throw things in the bag, and I would appreciate it if the inside pockets had zippers. But, if you keep the bag upright or laying flat on its back (which i recommend in order to preserve the shape), nothing moves from the pocket in which you placed it. Like I said, this is the best backpack I have ever used. i HIGHLY recommend it.

Functional, waterproof, sturdy
This is a good backpack and I've been carrying it around for a year now, in bad and good weather. It still looks like new. Yes, it is waterproof, unless you spend several hours in a deluge, and roomy enough for a one day trip.
