Plenty of Room for a 5th Grader
We purchased the North Face Jester Backpack for our daughter late this summer along with a long list of other school supplies. She is very happy with it and I am pleased with it's construction. Although she has more homework this year and some rather large textbooks, the pack still has room for her lunch and a sweatshirt. She frequently uses a mesh pocket on the outside to carry a water bottle too.

Perfect for my second grader!
In an ongoing quest to find a sturdy and attractive backpack, I came upon the Jester. At first I thought it would be too big (long) for my second grade son...but he loves it and it's the perfect size.
