This is an all around great gortex jacket. Simple and utilitarian. The shipping guys also helped get me the jacket just in time for my trip.

Good jacket with some improvements over the previous model. Biggest improvement is the lower face protection when the jacket is zipped all the way up. With the previous model, there was not enough room for your chin with the coat zipped up...now there is, great for those cold days on the lift.

Great lightweight winter jacket!
This is a great lightweight winter jacket. It is very warm and I can still add an inner jacket if need be. The Gore-tex material is soft and keeps out the wind and the rain. I usually wear an XL, but was able to wear a L and still have plenty of length in the arms. This is the first North Face jacket I have owned, but definitely won't be the last!
