Excellent Purchase!
These shoes are excellent....I took them out to the trail for the first time a week after I bought them and the performed flawlessly. No breaking in needed! I wore them for 10 miles of hiking and 12 miles of mountain biking and no blisters or painful feet. The Northotic soles are incredibly comfortable, and the Gore Tex lining wicks away water superbly. I highly recommend these shoes if you are looking for a super comfortable and very functional alternative to traditional hiking boots.

These shoes are durable and the Gore-Tex was the main selling point for me. I love being able to be outside in the rain/mud or wherever else I'd like to go short of a river crossing and still have dry feet. Rugged tread pattern, yet not too rugged to wear as a sporty shoe with some shorts around town. The gray/citronelle green color combo is very unique and I love these shoes.

These shoes are awesome. I took them through several months of tough field training, and then took them on a 16 month trip around the world. They've been on every continent except Antarctica, and have been nothing but great. Even now, where they're worn down to the nub in many places, they're still VERY water resistant, and only really let water in if they stay submerged for more than a minute or so. Great shoes, you can't go wrong!
