This is a versatile outer layer that stops the wind and can be used whether you are jogging in your neighborhood or hiking at elevation in the back country.

excellent jacket overall
i wear this jacket almost daily what with the windy rainy weather in ireland and it really keeps all the elements out. have also worn it hillwalking and jogging for my triathlon training. its very light and breathable but surprisingly warm when needed. my only downside with it is that the sleeves are a little long
