Great boots
Boots are great. Wanted to comment on Altrec's purchasing experience. Altrec sent me notification that they received the order and also notified me when the boots were on the way and provided tracking information which was very helpful.

Nice Looking and Tough too!
I got these shoes for my college-age son. He'd worn out one pair and wanted another. He's VERY hard on shoes so I needed something that looked good but would stand up to his motorcycle-riding, hiking, auto repair, just general casual use. He's hard on shoes, but likes to look good. These shoes are perfect.

Great in cold or wet weather
Comfortable, great in cold or wet weather your feet stay warm. Great value, these boots will last you for at least 4-5 years I would recommend these boots to other people.

Great boots, but heavy.
I have had them a month, and they seem very durable and well-made. They're warm and very comfortable. One problem, and maybe it's unavoidable with this kind of boot, is that they weigh a lot on your feet, and they would probably be too warm if the temp gets above 55-60.

Nice looking, not very comfortable
After wearing these boots for several days both of my feet were bleeding. I tried saddle soap, mink oil, multiple pairs of socks and various band aids and other padding. As a result, I no longer have these boots. A bit of a waste of money. I find that Rockports are much more comfortable.
