It's a sporty and versatile trail shoe that combines the essential support features of a training shoe with the durability and stability of a light day hiker. Beneath the stylish and cool, breathable Airmesh Nylon upper is a dual density EVA footbed and an innovative EVA midsole. Vasque added high rebound inserts along the heel and forefoot to help minimize fatigue and increase overall comfort. While many day hiking shoe designs add extra ounces with heavy reinforcement materials, Vasque takes a little off with a lighter TPU-injected nylon textile plate. Beneath the dual density EVA footbed and midsole is a low-profile, trail-ready Vasque Aether Outsole for excellent traction over a variety of surfaces.

My new favorite shoe
I wore these at the Dances With Dirt Marathon at Devil's Lake after getting them in the mail two days before the race. I normally would not wear a new pair of shoes for a race, but this was my only trail shoe. I loved the way the shoe felt and would definitely buy another pair.

Comfortable and Good on Roads Too
I've primarily used the Vasque Aether Tech Boa Trail Running Shoes for road runs so far, the longest road runs being 11 and 13 miles. I'm very satisfied with the cushioning and fit. This is my first time using the Boa lacing system and find it easy to use and adjust. I have a little trouble getting my feet into the shoes as they don't loosen up as much as shoes with traditional laces. Once these shoes wear out I will probably buy another pair because I'm very happy with this model.

Nice Trail Shoe
I have enjoyed this shoe when backpacking. The lacing system works really nice. I have usually used Salomon XA Pro 3D but the Vasque are a bit lighter and feel a bit better on the trail.

Great Trail Shoe
I purchased these shoes to prepare for an upcoming off-road triathlon. Absolutely love them! No break-in period and the Boa system is perfect for making the transition to a run!

Great Shoe
My husband says they fit "like an old shoe" he didn't even notice them! Nice and light.
