The Zamberlan 636 Baffin GT Rr Hiking Boot for men represents a deep history of boot making. Developed for backpacking with moderate to heavy loads, the BAFFIN GT RR features outstanding world-class workmanship and modern day technology that combined to provide comfort, support, and stability. Calf leather lining in the heel and ankle area and a leather tongue and gusset grip the feet snugly to ensure a great fit. The moisture wicking anatomic footbed, waterproof breathable Goretex lining and premium Hydrobloc treated nubuck leather work together to keep your feet dry and comfortable in the worst of conditions.
I agree with the other reviewers - Great Boots!!
I have always been a fan of Lowa boots - but I think my allegiance has changed. These boots have great construction, and I love the one-piece uppers, not to mention the gore tex liners. I have a slightly narrow foot (11.5, B to C width) and these boots fit great - sizing is true. I am using Superfeet green insoles, but I do that in all active foot wear. The boots keep my heels located and away from the toe end of the boots without over tightening the boots. The toe box is roomy as others have said, and downhills aren't a toe banging experience. I originally tried the Zamberlain Civetta GT RR boot, but these were a wider boot, and not as good a fit for me. Break-in is not bad, and I had no hot spots in my first few outings - things got better after the boots loosened up a bit and formed to my feet. Try 'em, you'll love 'em.
The absolute best pair of hiking boots to don my dogs.
Yesterday I hiked 25 mile section of AT, (Cosby to NFG), usually after a long hike boots off first thing, I kept the Zamberlan's on for the 2 hour ride back home, the boots are that comfortable. True to size, I purchased my regular shoe size! Plenty of room in the toe box excellent ankle support.

Just received my boots and they are everything i thought they would be!Top quality boots that will last for years. These are the most expensive boots i have ever bought and while they are not cheap that old saying you get what you pay for applies here. Simply put worth every penny!
Great boots
I took these boots on my recent 18 month backpacking trip. Great for all conditions, snow, volcanic ash, jungles, forests, deserts.... These boots are just amazing, kept my feet super dry in knee high snow... 100% waterproof. Non leather gore tex... could never pull that off. Made in Italy... my first pair are still great only bought a new pair for South America. Only downside is that when you treat the leather you lose that great texture/color... but it's not the end of the world. No need to break these in. Fit perfect!
Great hiking boot
Solid construction and excellent comfort. Definitely worth every penny.
