These New Shaving Cream Pods Are Pretty Epic

Last time we checked, shaving cream didn’t come in a bag. And it also didn’t come portioned out in a pod that looks like dishwashing detergent.

Pacific Shaving Company’s Single-Use Shaving Cream Minis (pick them up for $7 at Amazon) manages to be both of these things. It’s the greatest grooming accessory we didn’t know we needed.

Ideal for travel, these minis are major space savers when you’re trying to cram as much as possible into your backpack — or gym bag. With a touch of fresh fragrance from spearmint leaf oil, the cream is paraben-free and isn’t tested on animals. Each pod is wrapped in a food-grade, 100 percent water-soluble film and lathers up for enough cream for one shave, minimizing waste and portion-controlling your shaving experience. One pack comes with 40 pods.

To use, grab a mini and wet completely with warm water. The outer layer will dissolve in your palms before building up a smooth lather. Then massage it into your beard. Post-shave, your skin will be left moisturized. If you’d like, follow it up with their Nick Stick ($6), which is loaded with soothing vitamin E and aloe vera.
