Swimmers looking for a precise cardio workout are in luck with the Finis heart-rate monitor.

The Finis heart-rate monitor, appropriately named Aqua Pulse, clips to your goggle strap, takes your pulse, and announces your heart rate as you stroke. An infrared sensor that attaches to your earlobe measures your BPM throughout your workout using light pulses, so you can press a button at any time and hear your heart rate instantly. If you’d rather this device be completely hands-free, program yours to announce your heart rate at pre-set time periods, ranging from just 20 seconds to five minutes.
