Opened in the October 2016 by James Beard Award–nominated chefs James and Julie Petrakis, Cask & Larder at Orlando International Airport’s terminal 2 specializes in seasonally driven dishes and locally sourced ingredients. “We are so proud to bring our style of seasonal, sustainably sourced southern food to our hometown airport. It’s such an exciting opportunity to show the rest of the country what Orlando has to offer from a culinary standpoint,” says co-owner James Petrakis. Great dishes include the Spent Grain Pretzels & Beer Cheese Fondue, made with warm spent grain soft pretzels, beer-cheese fondue, and whole grain mustard.
