Make Bloody Marys from Fresh Tomatoes
The end of summer brings an onslaught of tomatoes, and we all know the best way to enjoy tomatoes is to mix them with vodka. You’ll need about two pounds — preferably heirloom tomatoes — as well as a bunch of parsley, celery, horseradish, hot sauce, and lime juice. Toss it all in a blender with a few dashes of salt and pepper, strain out the chunks, then chill it for at least a half-an-hour. In the morning, fill a glass with ice, two-ounces of vodka per, and then top it off with your homemade mix, and of course celery for garnish.
