XPD Expedition Race Australia: Hike, Mountain Bike, Kayak
This one is for experienced multi-sport racers that like to compete in a team. Participants flock from all over the world to hike, mountain bike, and kayak for three to six days in this behemoth race. The race is scheduled every 18 months in a new remote Australian location and racers wear satellite tracking devices to help locate teams and also stream their coordinates onto the race website. The 2018 location hasn’t been announced yet but it’s certain to be somewhere off-the-grid and spectacular.
