Substation Curaçao
Substation has turned the Dutch Caribbean island of Curaçao into the ultimate destination for affordable “inner space” exploration with dives down to 1,000 feet for $650 per person. The adventure outfit’s 6-ton “Curasub” was designed and built by Canadian undersea technology firm Nuytco Research. This four-passenger submersible takes guests to a depth unreachable by scuba divers (or shallow tourists subs) to view deepwater fish and undiscovered biological treasures from the comfort of a dry, pressurized cabin.
