In case you missed the memo, green juices are all the rage these days. And for good reason too—they’re packed full of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Simply throw your favorite ingredients in a juicer for a quick and nutritious energy boost. While many juices are available for purchase at supermarkets, it can often be cheaper and more fun to make them yourself. We’ve rounded up five of our favorites to help get your creative juices flowing.

Pineapple-Green-Apple Juice

3 cups chunked pineapple

2 large green apples

½ lemon

8-10 mint leaves

This tropical juice helps promote a healthy immune system, bone strength and digestion. This sweet blend is refreshing on a hot day, serving as the perfect treat to cool off with after a long paddle under the sun.

1 large cucumber

8 stalks celery

1 handful kale

1 handful spinach

4 kale leaves

2 apples

½ lime (peeled)

½ cup chilled coconut water

This refreshing blend will transport you to a tropical island, even if you’re land-locked. In addition to the plethora of nutrients in kale, apples and limes, coconut water is a good source of potassium, manganese, magnesium, folate, calcium, and selenium. Refreshing, tropical and nutritious all in one tasty drink.

3 small green apples

2 lemons

1 large beet (and its greens)

2 thumb-sized amounts of turmeric root

Beets are one of the most underrated vegetables, as far as health is concerned. Although they are high in carbs and sugar, they are also jam-packed with vitamin C, potassium, fiber and manganese. They work to fight inflammation, lower blood pressure, and increase stamina. Oranges, aside from being delicious, are also packed with vitamin C and potassium. Toss in some lemon, kale and ginger and you’ve got a nutritious and delicious blend.
