Jamba Launches Fundraising Campaign to Help the American Heart Association

Jamba Juice has launched a campaign to help raise funds for the American Heart Association. The campaign, which began on February 1 and runs through February 22, marks the third year of this partnership between the two organizations. When Jamba Juice customers donate $1 to the AHA, they will be eligible to receive special offers and promotions and to receive a “Whirl’d Heart” sticker that will be displayed on the company’s “Wall of Hearts.”

Bernie Dennis, Chairman of the American Heart Association, is delighted about the initiative. “We are very appreciative of Jamba Juice’s commitment to helping raise awareness about the prevention of heart disease, and we are pleased that some of their menu items are now certified heart-healthy by the American Heart Association, he said, according to Jamba Juice. “Thanks to the support of companies like Jamba Juice, we are able to make a significant impact on the lives of millions of Americans through our programs, education, and research.”

Jamba Juice has also committed to donating $1 to the AHA for every Energy Bowl it sells, up to a $10,000 limit. Five of Jamba Juice’s Energy Bowls are currently certified with the AHA as heart-healthy meal choices, including: the Island Acai Bowl, Berry Bowl, Mango Peach Bowl, Acai Berry Bowl, and Tropical Acai Bowl, In 2014, Jamba Juice raised $200,000 for the AHA, and the company aims to top that this year.
