Evan days after the Oscars, Jason Momoa is still pumped up about the win for Free Solo.
After presenting the award and announcing the victory for Free Solo as the winner of the Best Documentary Feature award at the Academy Awards on Sunday, Momoa is continuing to celebrate, this time by posting multiple photos and videos of directors Jimmy Chin and Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi, as well as climber Alex Honnold, hanging out at his house and climbing on his rock wall.
Momoa, who has a 25-foot rock wall in his backyard, previously climbed there with Honnold, and it also looks like he hosted Chin and his Oscar for a little time after the awards ceremony.
Momoa posted photos and videos on Instagram celebrating the Oscar win:
Momoa talked about climbing in his December 2018 Men’s Journal cover story, speaking about how important it’s been to his life and how he’s been climbing since he was a teenager.
“I’ve been climbing since I was 14,” Momoa said. “I love the outdoors, camping…..This is my love. It’s always kept me humble, grounded, outdoors, and pushing myself, scaring myself. On the wall, it’s a flow—you’re problem-solving, creating something. It’s the perfect real-world mental and physical test.”

Momoa will have another physical test of his own coming up—Warner Bros. recently announced that Aquaman 2 will open on Dec. 16, 2022.
