It’s a new year with new beginnings for champion waterman Kai Lenny. After 16 years windsurfing, surfing and standup paddling professionally for Naish, the world’s most decorated standup paddler will be leaving the Maui-based board brand behind for 2018, Lenny announced in an Instagram post on January 1. The division marks a monumental change for both one of SUP’s biggest athletes and biggest brands. The big question still remains: what boards will be under Lenny’s feet in 2018?
