A Room With a View
Kilauea is one of the world’s most active volcanoes, and has technically been erupting (more gently) since 1983. It produces loads of lava every day—and it’s all easily visible (as is its neighbor volcano Mauna Loa) from Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. (Hawaii’s tourism site notes that Kilauea is sometimes called “the world’s only drive-in volcano.”)
