Plastic pollution is a growing problem that’s causing serious harm to waterways around the world. From the Great Pacific Garbage Patch to countless rivers littered with bottles and wrappers, the problem is only getting worse.
In the UK, one group of standup paddlers decided they were going to do their part to raise awareness about this epidemic. Led by Beth Staley, they made a short film, Paddle Pickers, to document their efforts and showcase the impact plastic is having on their local waterways.
