Former world champion climber Jain Kim took a break between this year's IFSC World Cup events in the climbing gardens of Niederthai, Austria. There, the Korean-born lead climber redpointed new routes to relax and get her mind off the competition. "Rock climbing in Austria is very exciting to me. When I was young it used to be scary, but I think now I enjoy that feeling," says the 27-year-old professional. Despite three wins this year, a fourth-place finish in the final lead climbing event last weekend left her second overall for International Federation of Sport Climbing World Cup. Kim previously won the World Cup three times, in 2010, 2013, and 2014.
