Back from his two-year retirement, Lodwick’s return at the Vancouver Game culminated in the greatest achievement of his Olympic career: winning a silver medal as part of the men’s team. He describes the feeling of finally having a medal hung around his neck.
“I’m a competitive person that strives for things,” he says. “As a little kid in the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club, I can distinctly remember writing down my goals in crayon, saying that I wanted to be the best in the world. The overall feeling of putting your mind to something, no matter what it is, and giving it 100 percent and truly believing in it; that makes anything possible.”Back to top
