Great Scott (Snowbird, UT)
Snowbird is famous for its challenging terrain, and no other run embodies this better than Great Scott. Measuring 1,000 vertical feet with an average pitch of 40 degrees — and usually full of Utah’s finest white fluff — Great Scott is located at center stage directly beneath the tram. While it’s not the most difficult run at Snowbird, Great Scott’s steep entrance, rocky knuckles, and consistent pitch provide a good litmus test for any skier or boarder who wants to tackle vertical terrain.
