These Dogs Had a Blast at the 2018 Dog Surfing World Championships

Want to surf and hit the waves this summer? There are some dogs that might be able to give you a few tips.

On August 4, over 30 dogs made their way to Linda Mar Beach in Northern California—with their owners, of course—to take part in the 2018 World Dog Surfing Championships.

 

 

These very good boys and girls hit the ocean and competed in a number of events, including the frisbee catch competition, fetch-in-water competition, a costume contest, and just some plain old surfing.

The pups got wet and wild on the waves, here’s a look at some of the best:
