This Wingsuiting “Rockstar Line” Is Absolutely Insane

Last month in the French Alps above Chamonix, wingsuit pilot Graham Dickinson leapt from the peak of Le Brévent shouting "Vive la France!" His buddy Dario Zanon followed closely behind, capturing the daring proximity flight on his GoPro hero3. "I tried to shake off my friend Dario with some aggressive flying, but the skill of this man is compared to none," said Dickinson.

Flying excruciatingly close to cliffs and narrowly clearing trees at speeds over 110mph, the pair traced the popular "Rockstar line" — an exit point that proximity wingsuit jumpers refer to as one of the most technical in the world because of the hazards along the line like obstructive ledges and paragliders. While Dario's footage of Dickinson's flight can at times seem peaceful, Graham's own reverse helmet camera gives a more realistic feel of the incredibly high speeds they were traveling at before deploying their parachutes.
