4. How to watch the coverage of the Tour de France
NBC and its related channels are offering nearly 300 hours of live, primetime, commentary, and encore coverage of the event. The NBC Sports Network will be airing daily live coverage of the event on television, while the NBC Sports Gold and NBC Sports apps will have extra live coverage along with video replays, highlights, and a map that follows along the action on the course.
Pre-race coverage begins on July 1 at 6:30 a.m. ET, and the first stage will be broadcast live on the NBC Sports Network starting at 9 a.m.
