Experience Slovenia’s most famous whitewater river through the POV footage of filmmaker Andraž Krpič.
There’s a reason that the Soca River is becoming a destination for kayakers and rafters around the world—its emerald-colored waters and beautiful canyons combine with friendly Class II-IV whitewater to create a perfect environment for paddlers of all levels. The Soca valley runs through Slovenia’s Julian Alps near the town of Bovec. Really the only problem with visiting Slovenia is trying to pronounce the name of its capital city when booking your ticket, Ljubljana. Good luck with that one!
The Soca (pronounced “so-cha”) is also a popular destination for commercial rafting customers from around Europe.
