Watch BASE Jumpers Take Over One of the World’s Tallest Buildings

Last week, a few dozen elite skydivers literally descended upon Dubai’s marina district. The crew launched themselves from the 99th floor of the Princess Tower, which at 1,356 feet is the world’s second highest residential building. Some jumped in wing suits, others somersaulted off a platform, and a few began their free-fall holding onto the “world’s largest urban zip line” — a suspension web that requires six miles of rope. The group BASE jumps were part of a two-week skydiving frenzy in Dubai, called Dream Jump, and every athlete was outfitted with a helmet-cam for your viewing pleasure.
