Stunt rider Danny MacAskill exploded onto YouTube with his first video of flips and feats of balance on urban infrastructure, but his latest video takes him off road. MacAskill spent last summer touring Europe with his Drop and Roll stunt show, and along the way the rider made stops on the 470-mile Alpe Adria hiking trail, hucking off boulders and riding bridge railings.
While the smiling, oblivious hikers at times make this look like a cheesy commercial for the Alpe Adria, it's a pleasure to watch MacAskill's hypnotic tricks set on gorgeous, natural backgrounds. The trail starts at Austria's Grossglockner, which sees the rider turning the mountain's visitor's center into a playground, travels into Slovenia, and concludes on the Adriatic Sea in Trieste, Italy.
