Sometimes when you tell it what to do, your golf ball listens. At the BMW Championship, Jordan Spieth selected a seven iron on the 184 yard par-three second hole and after making a swing, Spieth was less than satisfied with the contact, pleading for his Titeliest to "Be Enough! Go! Go!" It was. The ball landed just on the putting surface, took a couple of hops, and rolled in the cup for a hole-in-one.
Spieth started his first round at the BMW Championship at the Conway Farms Club in Chicago on the back nine and made the turn at even par. He arrived at the par-three six shots behind his playing partner Jason Day, who had holed out from a fairway bunker for eagle on the previous hole. The ace shifted Spieth's round in to high gear. He chipped in for birdie on the very next hole and went on to cart a six under par 65, four shots off Day who blitzed the field with a 10 under round of 61 for the lead after round one.
