Almost 20 years after the first Mission: Impossible film hit theaters, Paramount has unleashed the trailer for Mission: Impossible 5 — Rogue Nation. The fifth installment of the series, which sees Tom Cruise return as Ethan and go head-to-head with a "rogue nation" of anti-IMF agents, hits theaters and IMAX July 31.
The trailer climaxes with "undoubtedly the most dangerous stunt" the 52-year-old actor has ever done — hanging on to the side of an Airbus A400M as it takes off. "As a kid I remember flying on an airplane and thinking, 'What would it be like out on the wing, or on the side of the airplane?'" he told Yahoo Movies. He and director Christopher McQuarrie had to film it eight times before they got the shot they needed.
