We like to think the secret to living longer is reading Men’s Fitness every month. But, it turns out, it also doesn’t hurt to make tons and tons of money, say researchers at Stanford and Harvard’s Health Inequality Project.
In fact, the richest Americans live 15 years longer than the poorest, they found. Even more shocking, from 2001 to 2014, the wealthy gained three years of longevity, while poorer folks’ life spans stayed the same.
