Epic Winter SUP Adventure in Norway

Our planet is filled with beautiful paddling destinations–from the tropical paradise of Maui to the pristine beauty of Lake Tahoe. However, you would be hard-pressed to find a more majestic place to paddle in winter than Norway. While this Nordic country does get extremely cold–minus 70 degrees Fahrenheit–its snow-covered scenery in winter is nothing short of awe-inspiring. Want proof? Well luckily for us, the folks at Fanatic documented their recent adventure in the snow-covered paradise. Paddlers Nicolas Steimer and Lena Albrecht braved the conditions to stoke through perfect flatwater, raging rivers and pumping surf. So sit back and be enjoy these paddlers’ stunning adventure through a real-life, winter wonderland.
