Time Bandits
Every kid dreams of one day having a half dozen little people suddenly spill out of his closet and take him on a wild time-travelling adventure involving Robin Hood, giants, and the Devil. Terry Gilliam’s wild, weird, wonderfully WTF ride is the only movie to take that outlandish wish and bring it to the big screen, for which we are eternally grateful. Before your kid can appreciate the warped genius of Monty Python, he or she should dip their toe into the filmmaker’s far-out fantasy world.
