Villain Info: The 6’5” former former professional wrestler was all that stood in the way of Indiana Jones and his getaway plane in the desert, leading to one of the most iconic fight scenes in movie history. After Jones takes down some random henchmen, Roach steps up, takes off his shirt and smiles as he approaches Harrison Ford’s archaeologist. Ford isn’t that much shorter than Roach, but director Steven Spielberg so masterfully frames the scene that Roach looks like an impassable goliath next to Jones. The two have a knock-down, drag-it-out fight before the wily adventurer manages to find an escape that doesn’t involve punching his way out.
