You may know the name Claressa Shields from her gold medal win against Nouchka Fontijn of the Netherlands. What you probably don't know is how much it's taken this 21-year-old boxer — who's the first American to win back-to-back gold medals in Olympic boxing — to get there. Rising from practically unknown to epic heights, she turned to boxing in the face of a difficult upbringing in Flint, Michigan.
