‘The Babadook’, ‘Donnie Darko’, and All the TV Shows and Movies Leaving Netflix in October

The fall film and TV season is heating up, but before you start your next binge session, make sure you’re caught up on what’s already out—Netflix has begun its monthly purge of TV shows and movies. Although a few notable classics, like Boogie Nights (great if you want to see a very different side of Mark Wahlberg) and Stanley Kubrick’s searing Vietnam War drama Full Metal Jacket, have already disappeared, there’s a still time to catch a few more gems, like the creepy Australian thriller The Babadook or Donnie Darko, which stars a fresh-faced Jake Gyllenhaal.
