Bautista Filmed for ‘Infinity War’ and ‘Avengers 4’—He’s Just Not Sure Which
With a story this expansive, and a box-office draw this guaranteed, it’s only natural that Marvel decided the latest Avengers flick into two parts. While Marvel has insisted that the two films are intended as standalone pieces, it’s hard not to look at them as one big story. For Bautista, it really is one big story—because he has no idea which parts he filmed for which movie.
“I actually never read the full script,” Bautista says. “The weird thing is, because we did Avengers 3 and Avengers 4 back-to-back, I made sure I knew my scenes, and I did a bunch throughout the year, but I never put the whole thing together. So I really don’t know which parts are in the film or not. Otherwise, it was business as usual for us, because in the film, it was usually four or five of the Guardians together with one or two of the Avengers. So in a way, it was more like they were joining our cast instead of us joining their cast.”
