Ditch CNN on Tuesday Night. Instead, Turn to The Weather Channel

Checking to see how cold it is outside won’t be the only reason to click to The Weather Channel come election day.

“This election night, as other networks go low, The Weather Channel goes high… to the sky that is. Clouds! Rainbows! Autumn Splendor! And… yes… smooth jazz!” reads possibly the best and most unpredictable press release ever. The go-to station for those who need to know exactly what the weather’s doing at all times says it will dedicate nine hours to playing “the most beautiful, awe-inspiring, and calming weather video and scenery ever caught on tape.” (Anyone can also just go outside and stare up at the sky for nine hours, but it probably won't include the jazz.)

Sounds like we’ll be seeing you on November 8, The Weather Channel. You can bask in all the good-weather vibes on your screen and put this heart attack–causing election behind you at 3 p.m. on Tuesday.
