People magazine just named Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson this year's Sexiest Man Alive, bestowing upon him top-shelf bragging rights and probably embarrassing the hell out of his 15-year-old daughter — a reward all its own.
While here at Men's Journal we applauded Johnson for being the fittest guy in the WWE and manning an absurdly inspirational Instagram account, People focused on what we should all strive for: staying grounded and being a good dude.
"I’ve made big sweeping changes in my career over the years, which have served me nicely," he told People. "But I feel that the big sweeping changes that happened in my life, in my relationships, of being a dad, of being a partner, and the things that I was and the things that I am, has really lent itself to a confidence."
After his new title was announced, Johnson took to Twitter to thank his fans. But not without issuing a truly Johnsonian humble brag: how early he gets up to stay ahead of the competition.
