Queens of the Stone Age rock ‘n’ roll frontman Josh Homme has issued an apology after video surfaced of him kicking photographer Chelsea Lauren in the head during a recent show. Originally Homme had tweeted out that he was “lost in performance” but has now put up a video apology calling himself a “total dick.”

“I’d just like to apologize to Chelsea Lauren. I don’t have any excuse or reason to justify what I did,” Homme says in the video. “I’ve made a lot of mistakes in my life, and last night was definitely one of them.”

Homme came under fire after Lauren posted on Instagram from the hospital after getting kicked by Homme. Lauren told Variety she plans to file a police report. Watch that video below.
