After eight movies and over $5 billion in box office receipts, the Fast & Furious spinoff is ready to start filming—and it’s going to be a big one. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Jason Statham are back to play Luke Hobbs and Deckard Shaw in the upcoming Hobbs and Shaw, which is being directed by Deadpool 2 and John Wick helmer David Leitch. That’s not all: badass actor and potential future James Bond Idris Elba was cast to play the villain.

With Fast & Furious 9 delayed until 2020, Hobbs and Shaw will be the next film in the series to hit the big screen. Since Johnson is one of the biggest stars in the world, he has a pretty busy schedule, so he’ll jumping right into filming Hobbs and Shaw after finishing off the filming for his upcoming film Jungle Cruise, which still has a couple weeks to go.

Johnson marked the first day of filming on the project with this cool photo of from Jason Statham’s Instagram of Statham speaking with Leitch on the set in front of a badass sports car. In the comment, Johnson writes that he’ll be on set in two weeks to start working on his scenes with Statham:

Before the spinoff became an official project, Johnson hinted at the movie in an Instagram post where he promised that Statham and himself will “give the audience what they want and fight. And it will be the greatest fight in the history of movies.” Now, that fight is getting closer to being filmed.

The plot of the film is being kept under wraps, but it will follow Johnson’s Hobbs, a former Diplomatic Security Service agent who later joins forces with the Fast & Furious crew, and Statham’s Shaw, an assassin who was an enemy to Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his team before turning sides and fighting alongside them.
